Some of the demands put forth by Tamil Nadu included approvals for the Coimbatore and Madurai Metro Rail projects, funds due to the State under Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan and ‘Jal Jeevan Mission’, and the sanctioning of intra-State railway projects.
