Environment Minister Eshwar Khandre calls for increased wildlife week conservation, recalls recent animal deaths in Karnataka

Environment Minister Eshwar Khandre said in Bengaluru city alone, more than 250 acres of forest land worth about ₹10,000 crores had been cleared of encroachments. To preserve the city’s green cover, a huge botanical garden is being built on the model of Lalbagh on 153 acres in Madappanahalli.
