Study finds trenches are leading cause of elephant injuries and solar fences account for quarter of elephant deaths in Karnataka

The Centre for Wildlife Studies, in a new study conducted in conflict-prone landscapes across Karnataka and Kerala, has revealed that commonly used barriers such as trenches, solar, and electric fences are causing unintended harm to elephants
