Mr. Satheesan sought to paint the picture of a Kerala in decline under ten years of LDF rule, and the government was anti-minority and pro-BJP. Mr. Vijayan said Congress’s lies would not pass muster with voters, and the party’s elected representatives were vulnerable to poaching by the BJP, since it had no clear line against Hindutva and minority communalism
