The week-long fete is organised by Kerala Folklore Academy, Kathirur panchayat and Pattiyam Gopalan Memorial Library. What began in 2015 as a modest Kalari demonstration by a local reading room has since evolved into one of the largest martial arts congregations, drawing participants from across India and abroad
